MaineCare Comment Period Now Open

Thanks again for allowing me to talk about Lead Maine and the MaineCare Accountability Project at the CCRC meeting last night.

As I mentioned during the presentation, we had been anxiously waiting to hear back from DHHS on the timeline for the two MaineCare accountability rules we petitioned for in June. I’m pleased to share that the public comment period is now open.

Every comment submitted becomes part of the official record DHHS must consider during the rulemaking process. Please encourage folks to draft and submit one here: https://leadmaine.com/mainecarecomment The page includes ready-to-use templates that you can quickly personalize.
